You don't have to extract any of the cars. For a $200 per car flat fee, they're hauling them all out, and will load 'em onto your trailer, which is OK considering the work involved!

    Hello
i have been there and bought the 48 Ford conv. It's a rusted out piece of junk, but i am thinking about a chopped custom. Will pick up the car in the next few days. Some cars were really too far gone....but some were really interesting, as the 71 yellow Duster near my Ford. Here are some pics.

  5. There is a yard like this in Belgium with a lot of American cars, but the condition of the cars is a lot worse than this

  6. Chryslers were build in Rotterdam in Holland / The Netherlands too.
In this factory they also build Kaiser Frazers in the late 40's and 50's and later it was used to build Nekaf Jeeps until the early sixties.

(Nekaf = Nederlandse Kaiser Fabriek or in English "Dutch Kaiser Factory")

  7. That's the way we do 'em, buy a bunch and clean a place out. Fury would have been a good piece. And around here a convertible is only a rusted out piece of junk if it actually is broken completely in half in the middle, anything better than that is restorable. I imagine that Ford would look tons better cleaned up, put on some roller tires and the fenders roughed out a little.

Good to see 500 saved. Its great for people to save but when you have so many, if the guy would have just sold off a couple now and then He would have been better off and got more money. I dig the Topolinos :D

It was impossible to move a car without moving dozens other cars. They were crammed in a place with trees and was impossible to take out a car. Only with an helicopter....
Now that everything has been sold, cars can be moved.

Some of the stuff is unbelievable! Ferrari 250 GTE bits, a Tatra and a Mercedes 190 SL?!?! It's just incredible seeing stuff like that in a junkyard! :D And that VW Beutler Bus is both replusive and alluring at the same time!

The Ford convertible is restorable because EVERYTHING is available. I was bidding on it too, but you obviously wanted it more. Build it stock like the one in Back to the Future. They're really nice cars and worth big money restored.
We bought that Duster behind it.

There were three Porsche 356 in solid restorable condition too. About a dozen split screen bugs and loads of Mercedes 170's too. The Ferrari 250 only went for about $3000 which was cheap I thought, even though it wasn't anywhere near complete.

Believe I would have had to take the Plymouth Fury and early Fords. I like the 68 Cougars! That's what I'm working on right now, it was my first car.

Here's some more pictures of the 67 Camaro we bought.

    Looked very restorable anyway.

Maybe HAMB is the worlds largest recycler?! Great purchase and effort. 5 '67 Cougars in one yard is amazing is the U.S. let alone in your part of the world. tnrotter

That Fury is a '58, very desirable. I would think someone bought it to restore it? Also, any pics of this $3K Ferrari? I'd love to see what it looked like if that's all it sold for.

    Amazing pics, thanks for sharing.

Tomorrow morning will be there to pick up my 48 Ford conv. Already found most parts for her here on the HAMB.
