someone beat me to the porters, I think they would be great on there, I'm going to get an older one eventually, I have a 90 towncar now and I love it, last of the ones that still looked like Lincolns, also last of the 302 this year, It's still big and ugly and square, and the trunk is big enough to hold a bunch of bodies :D. I may have even located an analog dash to get rid of the stupid video game dash, it's only real fault

That dash is fuckin' rad dude!! i love the subtle size of the speedo. and all the knobs... i think you scored WAY big.

  5. Right on! I hadn't seen your thread until now. Your 60 dash looks way cooler than my 58's.

Are you still running the factory brakes?

the brake shoes on these things are a mile wide. and the drums are 100lbs.. but the master cylinder looks like a baby food jar..
Are you getting the radiator fixed? or need another one?

Sorry to hear about the radiator. Of course it would have to happen when you're girlfriend is getting her first ride!

I think there is a way to upgrade to a better master cylinder, one of the few things I would change, for the sake of keeping it in one piece.

    Got her back yesterday :D

Radiator is good. Heater core is fucked. Changing heater cores on these = nasty job.

So I got one of them heaters that plugs into the cig lighter ;)

Also put my redi-rad in the car yesterday. I now have the first factory '60 Lincoln radio that's played the Mighty Mighty Bosstones....

Been driving it a decent amount lately now that its not so cold as the heater cores are bypassed!

Got the tranny rebuilt, needs an exhaust (which I have) but since the crossover pipe fell off I actually like the noise she makes :D

Here's a a recent shot in front of an old gas station in Cresskill, NJ.

And last night.... Went with some friends to see a comedian, Sebastian Maniscalco.

That's my friend Mikes '59 Capri (with EVERY option) on the left and my friend George's 65 Fleetwood on the right.

You're going to need about 20 of those things to heat that interior. I have small pickup and you still need to drive with one hand and hold it to your balls to get any comfort.

    Very sweet ride!

Did each of you guys drive solo? That would be hilarious!! The barges following each other must have made a long parade.

Yeah that plug in heater... Not so much.

As far as driving, yeah we tend to drive solo. Another friend of ours usually shows up in his 57 Olds super 88 with J2, kind of fun to invade Dunkin Donuts for coffee with this fleet!

Jack, I will find a good one one of these days!
