Does anyone know if Chuck Rogers is still alive? Did he build any other cars? Any other info on this guy out there?
Awesome car! Love the styling. I can't wait to see you duplicate the Black Panther picture on the door panels!
Why is it rusty? it only rains in washington once a year....too bad its for 10 months at a time!!!! really nice save! I'll look forward to see it on the streets!!!
Wasn't this car up for sale @ a year ago...at one of the swaps in Puyallup? I'm pretty sure it was right as you walked in the gate..... Look forward to seeing this one getting redone.
i drove from portland up to see the cars in the storage yard jerry had them in, what a lot of trash, the car you got and that sectioned ford was all that was good. i tried to buy the chev and the ford but he would budge on the price. the ford was cool but the frame was way to wide. im glad to see someone got the chev to re-do if i wasnt for doing russ meeks sectioned nomad i would have probaly bought it. good luck
There are three with the car, three missing. It looks like they were all custom made out of bar stock and then chromed...Do you have the other three somehow?
How did I miss this thread! Nice score Gup, I'm sure you guys know what to do with this vintage survivor. Have you asked any consulting from Rikster yet? He probably knows something more about this car. --mika
does anybody know if jerry sold the sectioned ford? also does any body know what ever happened to that chopped and sectioned 56 ford f100 that was on craigslist for ever? did it ever sell ? anybody ever look at it? thanks
Right on Gup! Killer score. Gonna be cool to see it up close when you have it done. It sure does look good already! And yeah that chop sectioned shoe would be neat to grab too. -Shiny
Nice score! Looking forward to seeing progress pics. I may have overlooked in the thread, but what engine is in it or was in it? mike
hey gup when i looked at the 50 he wanted 4500.00 but i told him that this thing is rough, but he felt it was worth that, but it was missing so much trim stuff, im glad you got that car out of him, it was sad to see it sit there like that.
Gup, Don't you pay that JustDug any attention now.Modified Chevy bodys are just right in my book. Congrats on the score. Hugh
