Sorry for the delay and getting back to this post, I'm going to take the pipes in tomorrow and have them ceramic coated.

Grits it looks great!!!! I like those headers. I'm gonna run headers like Littleman Dave Lohr is running on his model a truck!
So what if its another 350 if he wanted to lie to everyone he could say its a 265,283,302,327, or whatever he wants either way who cares if it isn't yours! I personally love this car it is everything my chevy wants to be!

Yeah, he shoulda put a small block Ford in it, and a mustang II front end....thats the only way to build a fenderless model A coupe...

or maybe he should just build a kit t-bucket instead.

What's wrong with 350 Chevs? When your supercool and rare (fill in whatever engine you think is better) needs a waterpump in the middle of Bum****, USA, where you gonna find a replacement? Pep Boys? Yeah, good luck with that! Sorry, I just don't understand all the SBC hatred.

Very cool headers! And by the way I guess my 283 is boring too. But it do rip ***. I want to build a set over the winter for my A roadster. I didn't know about this kit. Thanks.

    Nice headers,Grits.
Nothing wrong with a SBC.A friend of mine(and fellow HAMBER) built his 'A' coupe about 13 years ago,SBC powered,it's driven regularly and has been driven accross Europe many times.Never let him down.In fact,(I've said this before) it's seen more of Europe than a WW2 Panzer Division!

  29. Very tidy effort on your headers, ignore the **** that tried to turn your thread into another baggin session and keep up the great work.

  30. excellent job man!
