This shindig rates right there with the Drags! Even though it was the 1st anual event it was killer. Breeder and his beautiful wife were perfect host. It seems the everyone had a killer time. The cars were great, the bands were great and the people were great.
Mr and Mrs Fiddy were in charge of the beer wagon and for those who know these two know they have a fun time what ever they do. It was like a comedy show when Louver Dude showed up. I believe that Fiddy is the closest thing to Chris Farley I have ever seen. I laughed my *** off all afternoon.
Our trip started early with a caravan with Trailer Ed, Pool, Greezy, Steve and my wife and I. We got there missing the rain and watching some of the locals freak out at the gas station. One older lady ask what was going on downtown. I grinned and told her that a bunch of hoodlums were in town.
There was a young striper that stayed busey all afternoon. (this kid was good) I got to meet Lil John and he gave me a pin striped panel with mt HAMB name on it. This item will get a great wall spot in my shop.
I finally got to put a face to a lot of people that I have met on the HAMB.
As soon as I down load my pictures I will post them.

Breeder and his wife out did thereselves!

Hey all, just got home from the Rust Revival too. I have lurked here on and off for years, but just felt compelled to post an intro and post a link to the pictures of the Rust Revival I took today. Meeting so many great HAMB members kicked the day off with a bang and Breeder and friends have an event under their belt to be proud of. In fact, they are still partying as I write this post! I can't wait for next year as my Model A should be done by then. (I took at least 1 picture of everything with 4 wheels that was there from 8:00 am to 5:00pm.) Just click on the Rust Revival sub folder in my photobucket.

    Wow, the Pope was there!?

All kidding aside, looks like it was a great show. I know Todd was sweatin' bullets right up to the last minute, glad it came off in fine order.

Taking and posting the pictures was my pleasure. I was just glad to have such a short drive (less than 1 hour). I considered the trip "project research" for my sedan. - Jeff

Very cool show (thanks Breeder and the rest of the gang).

    The Chevy modified was nuts!
Even more nuts was driving it from Nebraska.
The pictures do not do it justice.

Looking forward to next year. I will try and bring a camera next time.

You are very right! The car was great. That's why I took a few pictures of the interior with the atlas, the bag of chips, and the change of clothes. When the gentleman parked and climbed out (and people began to swarmed the car) I heard him call someone on the cell phone (probably the wife) and he said "Hi, I am in Wayland now, so half way home...." -Jeff

Just got back my self. Thanks to Todd and his wife and the rest of the Kropdusters for their hospitality. This little get together is on my have to go list from now on. Lots of cool cars and got to meet lots of cool people, and catch up with old friends. For those of you who missed it...neener neener neener. Enjoyed getting to spend the time with my Vagabond brethern....even though someone forgot to bring their car...I wont mention names but hes a Dude who punches Louvers...;) Binder Rod and his wife are aces, had a blast hanging out with them today, along with everyone else in our merry little band. The cruise up to Wayland was a good one.

Weather was looking iffy in the morning then the sun came out and got really warm, holding off the rain until tonight. Besides that local dumb **** in the Ford ****** running over me and then coming back to later coming close to knocking the front end of my 40 the show didnt seem to have any problems. Thanks again to everyone making this a fun show, and cant wait until the next one.

A big thanks to Todd, Shanna,R.p., Gordon,Grant and all the Kropdusters, and anyone else, that had anything to do with this show! I went early and stayed late, had a great weekend, the people, the music, and yes even the cars were great! Even a little rain couldnt kill the fun vibes, coming out of this place!Me and my wife, celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary, hell my wife even came home with a "tatoo", she says I can see it sometime next year, if Im a good boy and negotiations go good!!!!!
I over heard someone saying "they thought they had died and gone to Wayland" they were having so much fun!
On a side note, does anyone know if Klaus, is o.k.? I was worried about him last night, he's a good guy and last night wasnt one of his best, to put it mildly.
Again a big thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This one is not to be missed!!!!!!!!

the Rust Revival has become my June vacation for years to come. The venue is perfect for this type of show. Everyone was having a great time, great tunes too. Great to meet some more H.A.M.B.ers and was nice to see others I have meet in the past. The host hotel isnt that far away and is a nice flat drive from the show. I see this thing blowing up into a major show in the next couple of years. Cant wait till next year. The last pic is of city hall.

hey all. many thanks to everyone who made the drive!! i met some great guys and gals. its you folks that made the show happen. we had killer turn-out for our 1st show.... thanks to the all bands too...flat out rocked the place all day and night. i'm gonna be recovering from this for days. the damn locals broke into the beer wagon in the middle of the night and stole the 2 remaining kegs. we put word out in town that if and when we found them they going to PAY:mad: . pretty soon Todd got a call from on of the little *******s who was afraid he was gonna go to jail....he also told where the other one went. good thing he called Todd instead of gordon and me, i dont like people screwing with my beer:D .....then my 1st gear let go on the way out of town, but the old girl made it home. oh yes, good times:rolleyes: :D

well my brain is too scrambled to think, so heres a few pics...

Whew, what a great time !!! I can't think of many place's better to have a car show than Wayland Mo. Big thanks to Breeder his wife and the Kropdusters, I'm sure it was a lot more work than what we saw ( you guys made it look easy ) A well thought out and planned event, Nice job for the first go-round and I will be at the next. Anyone who missed this, missed a really good time that these pic's can't describe, besides the cars, the music , people ( mostly who seemed to be from the HAMB ) It's a really cool little town with just the right patina, and Reeds restaurant is outstanding. I rolled over on Friday with some of the Roadburners and Xderelict caught up with us on Sat. with his kick-*** little modified. The drive there and back from Nebr. was nearly flawless as we only got caught in about a 15 min. shower on the way back. Cars ran great and we all made it back safe. Met up with Stick shifter,Hell Raiser, Louver Dude, Fiddy, a bunch more hambers I can't even remember, but most of all a 14 year old boy that has a very promising career as a pinstriper ahead of him. I didn't even get his name, but he is very talented and dialed into old school style striping Damn near a perfect weekend for me. Thanks again guy's your great host's. Here's a few more pic's. Gary
