Thanks once again to Matt (slddnman) Not only did he find the car for me he got up at 4am Today and drove 200mi round trip to haul the car to my house!!!

Nice score, I too have a four door. I just finished all the metal work from a 3" chop and new rockers. Keep us posted....

Looks very solid/clean for 3500, since Mercs are pretty desirable. Was the price low due to being a 4 door? Most cars are cheaper when they are 4 doors...Now you need to search for a grill, chop the top, and go...

 

Looks awesome. Now rip out that ****py '49 dash and sell it to me for $20 bux.

 

Funny thing about Mercs! If the seller doesn't know what he's talking about,he either asks TOO MUCH,cause he thinks they're worth big money,or he doesn't ask enough,cause he doesn't realize what he has....Weird!
The guys who know what they have are usually resonable...
4drs are usually cheaper,regardless of the condition,due to the popularity of Coupes. When it comes stockers...I wouldn't care if it was a 2dr or a 4dr. I love stock,un-modified Mercs!

BTW-Matt is a great guy!!! Helped me out more than once...

 

I also like stock,un-modified 2 or 4 door Mercs!I think they're one of the nicest looking production cars.Don't get me wrong I like customs too!

 

It came with the grill.It's in the trunk in great shape too.
