Projects Just had Gene Winfield paint my car & thought I'd share some pics.

What a treat bro, we are Gene Winfield fans here in Omaha. My bros had the priviledge of working with him on a top chopping at the World o Wheels car show earlier this year. Gene is the coolest big time cat I have ever met. I am so pleased for you and love the wagon man. Tasty build all the way! ~sololobo~

Ten pages and nobody has asked, what kind of material? Painting out in the shop I'm guessin' lacquer. VERY COOL.

 

I think I would have had to find a second wagon.

 

That is a show-stopper of a paint job. Wow

 

I bet it sucked getting that first paint job off...

 

It was heartbreaking! But luckily it worked out good

 

Sorry to say but I liked the first paint job better with the white roof...but either way I'm jealous!!

 

It's ok I only go back and fourth 20-30 times a day on it. LOL

 

This is a great build I guess we are making progress putting this thread in Traditional Customs with a air ride E level kit on it must be the G W paint job on it.LOL Look forward to the rest of the build.

Haven't posted in a while as it has just been wet sanding time. Bit finally started buffing at polishing over at Tri-Valley Auto Glass with Tony Gomes (Gomes)

I've been keeping track on this post for awhile now. Every time I see it the more and more I like this ride. Love the color or colors that it has progressed through. The color has brought the car out even more. Tell Gene that his work keeps this Carolina Boy going and the style you have brought to your car is truly amazing! Keep up with the pictures!

Color Sanding and buffing is Complete!!! Now I really can't believe all of the colors and depth of the paint job!! I got all of my stainless back from the polisher (OUCH!) and got the windshield in. Starting to look like a car again. When I get all the glass in & the sun comes back I'll push it outside for a better pic.

 

I remember being at this point with our wagon..I am in awe of the color. HRP

 

Just stunning. I am always in awe of Gene's fade jobs. I have a hard time drawing a straight line much less paint countless layers of faded paint all in straight lines. Unreal!

 

I know Gene's the man!!
