Finally joined the community after a long time of Peeping Tom behaviour. Love the site and the folks participating, has been a great source of knowledge and inspiration. A little about me; Live north of Detroit and have tried 3 times in the past to rebuild/build a hot rod but have failed all 3 times! Money, not enough skill, no balls all factored in. I am bound and determine to get it right before I check out (hopefully not too soon) I have a 1951 Chevy Deluxe Coupe barn find from Nebraska. It was last licensed in '72, 6 bnager and trans were removed, most of interior weather and shot, only rust through is bottom of p***enger door. The rest is weathered and very, very minimal surface rust. I will be dropping in a 420 hp SBC & TH400, 3.73 posi from '79 Malibu. I will try to locate the answers from the past but I'm sure I'll need you for a lot of stupid questions. This is something I want to get running and drivable first then worry about upgrades and cosmetics, a work in progress. So thanks for having me and look forward to picking your brains and tricks of the trade. Thanks
