Hello. Like 99% of the people here, i'm a car guy. I'm definately not a know it all. After a half hour of browsing some of the forums I can tell this site is great. Hell just by seaching I was able to find out a lot. I recently purchased another guys project. A T-Bucket. Come to find out it's a Bird body from the mid 60's from what I could find out from google, and the word "Bird" on the radiator cover. It's on the frame but not mounted, 9" rear end installed, steering box is done, and a box of oher shit. I'd like to find out more info on the Bird company for a windsheild or interior parts and other things any help would be great! I'm new to T-Buckets, but, like every project, I have a plan. Thanks again!
Welcome aboard. You can probably use parts from current T-Bucket manufactures, just compare the dimensions. They were all based off of the same car so I would think that the parts would be similar enough to be able to swap or do some minor modificatons to make them fit.
Most of the windshield posts don't fit right anyway. Not too hard to make them fit right though. Have you gone to the National T-Bucket Alliance site http://www.nationaltbucketalliance.com/bb2005/index.asp or T-Bucket Forums http://www.tbucketeers.com/forum/ Lots of info at either. Bill
