Thank you, yes, my father flew them out of Italy during WWII.
Love all the warbirds from that era, but B-24’s are special to me.

 

My Dad was rebuilding 50 Cals on B-17's in England. I got to fly in one, hope you catch a ride in a B-24. Bob

 

Bob, lucky for you on the ride! Maybe someday I’ll catch a ride, but I think there’s only1 B-24 flying these days.......but, hey, ya never know. I’m sure the gunners appreciated your father’s work! I was a crew chief during my s***ch, wrenching on F-4’s. Keep,em flying! Rob
