    That is a very cool bit of Hotrod Trivia Dean...thanks for sharing that...where did that Iconic Cl***ic end up?...I seriously hope it's in a collection somewhere...fingers crossed...I'm going to snoop around for that answer...

    Low buck louvers: (see pics) <Thanks to “Jimmy B”
    1. Cut slot with cutoff wheel
    2. Female die is located by sheet aluminum shoved up in cut slot
    3. Locate male die next to sheet aluminum and hammer until the stop bottoms out
    4. Repeat, repeat, repeat

    :rolleyes:...Fast Louvers...Vintage Color really offers a new dynamic to something that we're accustomed to seeing in B&W...in that the colors used back in the day were in fact pretty wild...

    Yes I get what your saying this was a color for hydrants or something...I worked at a big aircraft company and it was interesting walking out to the car in the parking lot seeing many familiar things that were obviously from in the plant and that MAY have been all above board as stuff expires especially paints sometimes unopened cans to boot...

    :rolleyes:...a great historical look at louver style...sometimes one might wonder if that Rootlieb Hoodside is period correct and these pics help give credence to just that...Gotta like the fingers and hands being pressed into the ears...

    I should have said to reduce wind drag...yeah goggles on, mouth shut and give'r...I had an Old Harley and I know All about Bugs in the face...:D
