...Stuart Hilborn...a remarkable man and his machine. The above Photo brilliantly captured by Tim Sutton...

The above pic I believe is a replica as it seems the original was wrecked in a crash at speed caused by a tire or wheel issue with Hilborn surviving miraculously as there sure as hell wasn't much protection...and was seemingly s****ped even though it was rebuilt after gaining additional speed records, perhaps as forgotten junk...

Here's an interesting Thread below from the Archives about the remains of Stu's Racer with some very cool pics and info shared as well...

there is a thread somewhere, I’ll see if I can find it. I built it for my daughter when she was 10 years old (she’s 22 now). It’s got a 110cc four stroke single cylinder 12 he engine fitted with a 15 hp wet nitrous system.
She used to run the 1/8 mile at the drags running a fastest of 51mph.

...Speed with all the t*******s including numerous Louvers in places not normally seen on the street. I especially hone in on the rear wheel wells and remember seeing a Plated Hotrod with them...it may have even been this Roadster as a survivor or inspired by...this speed entry realized 207mph, not enough for a record but danged fast regardless...
