Hi Guys and girls..... I don't know how to post links, but I just came across an ad in the Portland, Oregon Craigslist that looks like a good deal for someone looking for a project. '51 Olds 2 door post. Looks pretty solid and complete. Comes with a Caddy engine (not installed, just sitting in it). All galls, trim, new interior. $3,500 OBO. I have no connection to it an any way, but thought there might be someone interested in a not-too common project.
Agreed a good deal for someone looking for a project (not me). It's been listed before for more money..apparently he's getting desperate.

Looks pretty solid, although the owner could choose what pictures he posted with the ad. I'm not sure what he's spent north of $7K on. Hope someone who likes it gets it.
Easy to finish? No, I have heard that before. I guess it's easy when someone else has to do the work. I don't see 7K invested in it either.
I have seen a couple of classifieds in Portland Craigslist stating only couple of small items to have it up and running. Always chuckle at that.
Every cl ad in my hometown, lol. "just needs the carb rebuilt!" Like who tf wouldn't pay a mechanic 100 bucks to rebuild a bad carb to sell a good running car for more money? Lol. I can smell the antifreeze in the oil with those posts!

Phone number is a land line for a gent a bit older than me. The Cad engine shouldn't be a deal killer as it can be sold easily enough.
