You lucky dog!!! Whenever I have couple of extra dollars lying around, everyone wants a million for stuff like this. When I don't have two dimes to rub together, suddenly stuff like this pops up for a hundred bones and I have to pass to pay the bills. Story of my life

Congrats on that find. Do it up right.

Now thats a neat car, but too bad he made it a 2 door sedan. Went through alot of work to end up with "nice vickey" or "killer tudor"

Made it look like every other run of the mill ford

so i couldnt handle having this car in my shop and not being able to work on it, so i got to work. First thing was to get the body off the frame. body needs some re-enforcements, and a new sub-structure, but i anticipated that. Frame is strait and square, but has one spot where its starting to rust through. Should be an easy fix. After fucking around for 2 hours, i got the rear end and front end off. Plan is to use a sbc ( i know, i was gonna run a flathead, but it got scrapped before i could buy it  ) with a saginaw 3 or 4 speed. The frame will be kinked slightly at the cowl, and im picking up a model A front axle this friday to use. Rear end will be whatever i can find, hopefully a 10 or 12 bolt.
It will remain unchopped for now, and un-channeled.

  7. if you got the engine already, who cares? You'll be laughing when you are driving your rod around with less invested in the whole thing than some peoples engines. I'd personally like to see how cheap you can build this one for. $100 dollars is a good start.

well, i built my nash for under $4000.

The motor was $30 and the car was $100.

the front end is gonna get spendy though, i already know. Im buying a a model A front axle to replace the origional stock, but it still doesnt have any spindels.

Model A axle!! I like the old parallel leaves on these old Mopars.

thanks for not building an over chopped over channelled too low junk pile which seems to be so popular these days

the front rims came off of a trash cart he had. they're held on with bailing wire, and have no bearings, and the tires are solid rubber. Its all for art. The rear rims were chevy wheels with the centers cut out, and the rim tack welded to the origional wood spoke wheel.

All for the sake of yard art =(

Made a trip to my favorite scrap yard today, and picked up this ford frontend. I believe it to be 31, but im not sure. its mostly complete, but now is where i run into a snag. Im looking to mount some standard ford wheels to it, but i have no idea what parts i need. Id also like juice brakes.

    Anybody offer some insight?
