Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Eric Hawkins @ Coker Tire, Aug 10, 2006.

  1. Hey guys, I just wanted to let everyone know that I will be on here answering any technical or sales questions that you may have. If you would like a price quote or have any questions you are more than welcome to e-mail or call me any time. I encourage all the members to take advantage of our discount to them, I personaly think that it was a great idea.

    Thanks

Thanks Eric. The boundary of customer and retailer has been crossed and thats a great thing. Your company has done so much to take care of us and is greatly appreciated.

  6. Hello Eric,
Might as well throw my question out here, Can a European alliance member get tire discount at the Coker distributor in his own country or is the discount only for USA & Canada ? As far as i know there are two distributors/ dealers in The Netherlands.

Welcome aboard bud. I got new Coker WWW's a year ago, have put over 10,000 miles on them and am very happy. Got them real dirty on a trip and was having a tough time getting them clean. Stopped by your booth at the GG Hershey show and one of the salesguys hooked me up with some cleaner. Works great. Thanks!

I believe you are the only place that I can get my 13" WWW's too. I've got BFG silvertown's on the front of my truck and Radirs on the back. Both great tires. Now it's time to do it again. I'll be calling. Thanks for joining up and making yourself available!

Hey Eric, welcome to the board. I know most tires go on stock applications but one thing that might help rodders out is printing the recommended rim widths for each tire, at least the ones rodders would most likely use, in the size listings. I see sizes I'm interested in but have trouble figuring out the rim width I need to use. My catalog is pretty old, maybe this has been addressed.

Have to tell you that we really did not consider the alliance members in other countries. Good problem to have! HAMB'rs everywhere! Great job Ryan! There are substantial differences in costs from country to country based on VAT (value added tax), currency valuation differences so it might be difficult. The other problem is that these distributors all over the world run their own businesses and its tough for us to push our distributors into a corner for a discount. I will tell you that Jim Hildebrand, VP Exports and I will head down to T-Bones for a beer and discuss it. We'll get back to you.

    Great question. Thanks...

    Corky

I LOVE you guys at Coker.

Where else can you get Redline Firestones and 20" Pro-Tracs(for the 52' GMC), WWW (for the Model A), and 560-15 1" whitewalls and cheater slicks (for the straight axle Bug)?

I won't shop anywhere else for tires PERIOD.

Now I just have to join this alliance deal...

It's kind of wierd to see Corky Coker's name with FNG under it isn't it? The venders should get a special name like the aliance members... No?

Hi Eric, In this hobby a fella could take a few years to complete a project car .I was wondering how long a tire would last before a person might start worrying about it deteriorating ? Thanks . Bill
