Hot Rods just stare at it

Well I was staring at it again then grabbed some mothers and started buffing few hours went by and now I smell like compound hands are black and fingers hurt but I think I it made me happy doing something. Even when staring at rust the shit that is shiny is really f.....n shiny now

Nice to see an old thread back up top. No progress to speak of on mine, but I did add another project to look at. Two in the basement the new one in the unheated garage.

 

I usually stare at the floorboard.

Under the car, handful of tools except the one I need, and pause for a moment of reflection.

Before I crawl my ass back out and get an extension.

 

Yes, me too.... except I stare at it in wonderment, thinking back to my teen years when the thought of owning a hot rod was literally a dream. I try to never forget where I was, and, where I am now, it was a long hard rough road, but it's been a grand life.
