I'm all about older speed metal, thrash, etc. (Kreator, Devestator, Hirax, D.R.I., etc.) and newer metal (Not crappy radio metal though.... Misery Index, Angelcorpse, etc.)

I can't wait for the 34' to be done so I can pull up on people with SLAYER blasting as loud as I can get it. haha

The only hardmetal I hear is the sound where I forgot to add insulation.
There is absolutely no better group of musicians than the Valve in Block sounds of Henry's Boys!

    the sound of my exhaust.

There is nothing worse that being forced to listen to someone elses music from inside your own car.

But I do love me some slayer...

  7. I never heard of any of those folks. :)

I've burned about 12 hours worth of late 50's and early 60's CD's. Elvis, Buddy Holly, Jerry Lee, Little Richard, etc.

Sesame Street sing along.....learning while I drive.

Actually, the '31 won't have a radio - at least not right away. In my daily I listen to Outlaw Country on Sirius most of the time. Sometimes punk, rock, or blues depending on my mood.

with dual exhaust and a pair of Smithy's blending the notes together right under the front floor, I usually don't hear much of anything other that that. But when I do do tunes it is usually doo wop, the Stray Cats and some early c & w.

XM channel 13. It used to be called "Hanks Place" but now it's called "Willies Place." Anyway, it is nostalgic country (is that an oxymoron?)...

With all four windows down on my hardtop I listen to the mellow exhaust tone and wave back to the high 5's I get. When the windows are up it's a mix of rock from 50's to 80's. When I am in my daily driver its always classical.

And here I thought I was the only "Metal" fan here......

All my cars are too LOUD for radios........but roadtrips in the daily consist of Cake, OLD Nirvana, Cryptopsy, Zepplin, Styx, Slayer, Leadbelly, Modest Mouse, Obituary, Snow Pony.......you name it.....as long as it isn't the typical SHIT ya hear on the radio....leave that for the sheep....

My parents were children in the '40s, teens in the '50s, so I grew up on a mix of doo-wop and big bands. My parents also exposed me to the big groups of the '60s, including the Beach Boys, Beatles, Creedence, the Mamas and the Papas, etc.

I have eclectic taste, from Black Flag, Danzig, Pantera, Rollins to Devo, Ratt, Motley Crue, etc.

Still my favorite are the Beach Boys - reminds me so much of my youth and growing up by the Shore...
