Merged a couple of these threads to keep it all in one spot.

What can I say? Thanks to everyone who made it out. Jeff drove his 5W from Omaha. Tuck pulled eight plus hours each way just to cruise around Kansas City. Amazing. Can't say enough about you two making the haul. Hero's. Sorry I didn't have a radiator for your troubles, Jeff. :)

Jay coming from somewhere out in Kansas and educating us on the finer points of limestone. And bringing John - he's pretty damn funny.

Beemer's T is so rad. I've looked at it before in pictures - but in person you notice the stuff he's done is genius.

porkn****** - Always a smile and having a good time. Thanks for the gift man. It's going in the shop this week. Your wife rules too.

gman - You made it. You actually ****ing made it. Thanks man - that meant a lot. Glad you had fun.

Got to hear some background on Kerry's coupe. Nice.

raven61's kid rules. And he's alright too I guess.

Steve - Thanks for bringing your Dad. Haha.

Big thanks to KCTA Chris for listening to my neurotic rambling as I wondered aloud if anyone was having a good time.

And really nice pictures from sodbuster. Wish I had taken more.

I was so stoked. It was fun the whole way - even being stuck behind the damn combine for miles and miles.

I'll leave it with a shot of Jeff peeling out for Omaha after dinner with the last of the bunch (Me, Jay, John & Tuck) plus my wife and daughter.

    Kevin----
Thanks for doin this! I DID have fun, just so you know.

It was pretty cool that your wife and daughter joined our unruley bunch. It was nice to meet the family. Too bad that our cars stink.
No need for the rad, you saved the day with that wicked cool breather. I think I picked up three horses with that alone.

Hey Tuck, hope to see your pics. I would like to see Kansas from a canadian's point of view.

The only damper on this is I think I have hurt my flat head. It seems to be knockin, I dont want to look at and ruin my great weekend. I'll just put it in the garage and forget about it for a while.

I guess my new top didn't really p*** the "reliable" part:D . Back to the drawing board on that one.

Well, I guess this is what I get for only having internet access at work, page 3.
Here's some shots/random thoughts on the day.
As always, the whole thing is a great time.
Where else can you spend all day with a bunch of cools guys from all over and run around in and with neat old tin. Now I didn't get to shoot everyone's car in detail like I wanted to, so my apologize.
    First up, Tuck's '34 (or is it a '33?).

Last time I was in Old Bill's it was much more than Ford stuff. He had some of everything. It is mostly 50's and older. I have had the good fortune of going through the museum part. There are really some neat things in there. Yes, he will sell things. Oh, and it was on the news the other night the Hardware Cafe closed.

  21. How do you get involved with this. I'm right here in KC-KS & would like to hang the next time an event like this goes on here in KC. Is there a sign up sheet or something. Club to join. Carl Hagan

  22. the lucky *******s put on a pretty *****'n endurance run out of pen*****ve on the north left side of cali...looks like there some good runs going in the midwest too...

the model t speedster crowd has a bunch of these runs all over the left coast, it is great to see this era of cars doing the same thing!

No sign up sheet and certainly no club. I think Ryan's words sum it up really well. (pulled from this week's JJ article)

So while it's not meant to be exclusive per se. It just happens that a small group of people lends itself very well to this type of event. I'm going to do what I can to keep it small - we'll see what happens next year. I have some pretty cool ideas.

Also, I want to take a second here and recognize my wife, who really did more to organize this thing than I did. She rules. She convinced me to sit down and put pen to paper instead of planning on the fly. She helped me work out a route and even went creeping around the Liberty Memorial to find the side entrance after I'd given up hope. (seeing the main entrance under construction) She's great, end of story.
