I was greatly influenced by the custom car culture. I grew up in and around Mulvane, KS home of Darryl Starbird for years. Used to cruise by his house all of the time just to see what was sitting in front of his shop. After high school I went to autobody school and have been in the body and restoration business for the past 20 years. I currently own and operate a hotrod and restoration shop. Its a family business with my wife taking care of the phones and office. Me and my two boys take care of the work in the shop. We do what we can to keep the doors open. We get a lot of muscle cars and other classics but really like the rod and custom stuff the best. Everytime I looked on the web for some info I would always end up on the HAMB. Kinda addicted now and keeps me fired up about building cars. Building cars for a living has kind of burned me out. I know a few of the guys on the HAMB already. Went to body school with Finkd, also see Mcphail every once in a while and just met Conder a few days ago. See you on the board.
