My son just bought a KD 910 headlight bucket he wants to modify and mount on his bike. Can anyone tell me what headlight will fit in there? If he goes to the local NAPA what should he look for? part# etc? Thanks, ccnova
I have KD890's which should be the same size, but measure first. Mine are 5 3/4 sealed beam. Measure from the outside of the bulb. Common size for motorcycle application. You can get them in either 12 or 6 volt halogen. Also, you may to to modify how it seats, depending on what came with your bucket.
Thanks for the help. All we got was a bare bucket no headlight at all so we have to figure out how to mount the light. Does anyone know where there would be a picture or illustration of how it should be? Thanks again ccnova
I have 2 Buckets marked KD 910, The Bulb inside of mine reads GE 6014, it is a replacement sealed beam 6012 would be the light that it replaced, Any chance you know what these Buckets came off of ? Hope this helps ........Thanks Mike
