  3. Beware I know where you live, if you leave town this car may mysteriously be relocated to a secret garage to rot next to my Model A....

The optional roll down back glass is a goodie! What a great find and considering the Comet story, save as well.

Nice. I'd like to find one like that. I have to ask though; How the hell could you not drive right to it. There's only one road in Wyoming!!!

The Patina....is amazing ...dont ever change...

  22. Weird...but good weird. That is a much nicer 5 window than the one I started with. here's a photo or 2 of my body. I'm slowly putting it together on a nice original 34 frame. Tus far, I haven't used one single body part from the body I bought.......all the parts have been scorced from swap meets, HAMB ads and Steve's auto restorations. Finding a good usable body is a lot better way to go...congrats!

  23. Yeah, I've got a couple contacts. I will have to wait awhile, and save some money for a friggin grille. You would think it was a duece as much as grilles go for, ha ha.

  24. Yeah, pretty much. Most of these cars were made into saws or snow blowers in the old days around here. Or, made into a truck. I never thought there would ever be a whole one. I have old timers ask me about my cars, and then they will laugh and tell me all the ignorant shit they would do to theirs. "Had to make it into a coal stoker to survive the winter of '42." Sick bastards. Also, something nutty about this car, it's all marked out to be chopped, the pass. door frame and A pillar are actually already cut, and gas welded back together. Like they chickened out. I asked the old guy about it, and he didn't know what I was talking about. If he had owned it since '51, that means somebody before him was going to chop it. Pretty cool.

This is the almost unbelievable part of the dream. Stuff around here's never for sale, it's always "gonna be restored" or they think they'll sell it to Donald Trump and retire to the Florida Keys on the money from the sale. Great find, just meant to be.

Great Find! I love old cars, but for some reason all I ever dream about is women, and the bad part is they're not my wife!
