Hot Rods Keep meeting guys that seem happy about crashing there gassers

I don't think the original post is about getting into the rail at the track. More like street stuff.

BTW, I think you race a Gasser at the track, you drive your Hot Rod on the street. But that's just me.

 

Unless you drive your gasser on the track and race your hot rod on the street.

I was with a bunch of guys ones when this fella showed up skint all to hell and bragging about how he fell off his bike. One of the old guys just chuckled and said. "Hell son anyone can fall off it takes a real man to stay upright." Race cars aren't much different are they.

 

A guy once told me he had the class (?) record at Connecticut Drag way..I said thats nice..Then he proudly proclaims how he cheated to get it..I asked if that makes him a Hero or a Zero..Dumbass didn't have a clue what I meant and I was prepared to get a beating, he changed the subject but I think he thought I gave him praise....

 

Maybe it's more a case of being happy that they use their car rather than letting it collect dust in the garage and they just accept that***** happens sometimes. I don't think anyone is ever happy about a crash. Some just don't let it ruin their day/week/life like others might.

 

I don't think half the gassers in our area even touch a track.

Well I lost mine if you wouldn't mind telling me where you saw them at.

I seldom let a crash bother me, it happens, I am never proud of the fact or even happy about it. But I seldom let it bother me, I just repair it and go on with life.

 

Since I know the owner, I certainly hope he finds out who this jackass is who started this post.

 

We have allll put parts on the track...hahaha.... ya aint hot-rodded enough ifn ya aint!!!

Rashy used to post the bunny just for me because it always gives me a chuckle. Funny thing is that a bunny with a pancake on its head just seems way more rational that someone crashing and being happy about it.
