I guess I've been lucky. In almost 45 years fooling with cars I've only had one experience where afterwards I realized they "done" me on purpose. As a rule if they are a real car guy, they're good for it. I can't count the parts that have been freely offered no charge from friends and aquaintences over the years. Yep, I've been real lucky!
I know that it's easy to say you will do something but hard to actually do it, you keep saying to yourself I'll do it tomorrow and it never comes. A few years ago I decided to take the High road and really try to do things promptly, if I sell something it's in the Mail within 24 hours, if I am to give someone something I try to do it ASAP. I do not always suceed but I feel much better about myself.
Thank you also,for taking the time to tell us this story.To often all we hear about, is who got ripped off etc.,refreshing to hear of the people,who still have "traditional values".
