i usually don't post ebay stuff on here , but i saw this on ebay and liked it..and after the recent post about him i thought it would be appreciated: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=4548951465&category=6234
It's easy to throw flake and chrome at something and grab attention. It takes real talent and a good eye to get noticed w/ out any of the flash. Can't really think of a better example of that than this car.
its also easy to sit back and be an expert on topics that you have no clue about. welcome to the internet!
That guy is an amazing builder and every bit of the word 'Traditional'...I havent seen on car by him i havent liked...He pretty much nails it everytime in my book...A kool lil car for sure... Dirty
I dig that sedan. love the stance. its a little blah (all black) but still cool as hell.. some pinstriping would liven it up.. I hope he gets some good money for it.
I've seen this thing in person. I suggest y'all sell whatever it is you're driving and buy this thing immediately. Screw everything else. STONER
I personally wouldn't allow a pinstriper within 15 feet of that car... Basic black Ford. They don't get much better.
When I first saw the pic, I was torn, one side said its fine the way it is, but the other side of me said it was all black and needed something.. which is why I was thinking some basic striping down the side on the revel (Tommy the Greek style) rather then adding some color to the wheels (not red)..
i agree, nothing sez bare bones hot rod like black on black! ..and the Tardels build the most traditional stuff anyone can imagine, untouchable!
I think OL Henry hisself said it best, "You can have any color you like as long as its Black!. I'm here to tell you that I spent all day with Keith last friday & took that very righteous ride to lunch, was sunny when we left and was raining when we came out to leave,Mind you we were cruising this puppy w/o a hood on to show off the fine detail work of the engine in this fine C-dan, especially the "Killer" generator pulley=lot of work! Well some fine upstanding person was looking out for us by placing a box that kept most of the rain out of the air cleanerless, but scooped 97's. She lit up just fine, Keith made sure she didn't ingest too much H20, we cruised down the street, decided to reverse the scoops, checked & made sure the distributor didin't get wet, she purred like a happy Kitten all he way back to Rex Rods. Keith & I had a nice business meeting re: the 1929 roadster that Cyclone owns that ran the lakes on May 25,1947, Look out guys, cuz Keith gonna be @ it again and we're both gonna reap the rewards. Oakland & GNRS Here we come!!!!
