Was going through my dads stuff today and found this on a jacket thought it was pretty cool. Seems to maybe be an employee badge. My dad always seemed to find odd ball trinkets. 775DE213-87C1-4214-B6AA-145BAFFCA85F.jpeg

I recall someone posting something similar, but with a Ford linage. Something about the shift they worked?
    Anyone recall that?

  5. Could be an employee 'brass'. I've worked places in the past where when you came on the job at shift start you picked up a tag or medallion with your employee number on it off a board. Once the shift starts, it's easy to see who's there and who's not and they'd usually collect the remaining ones so they could keep track of who came in late. When your shift was over, you would 'brass out' by returning it, usually under a watchful eye to make sure you weren't hanging more than one...

some places you would use your brass to check out a tool. leave your brass, you get it back when you return it, and your number is on it, so it damn well better get returned !...or else !
