Dam hard to find those rims in Australia, I've got two need two more

 

They're not really that hard to find if you really look for them. Took me six months to find 8 of them, 6@ 4" and 2'@4 1/2". Usually on Craig's list. No they're not for sale, I don't buy stuff to resell.

 

I’m also one who prefers the plain Jane ‘35 wires. The bent ones look a little clunky so my ‘35 set will go on my ‘32 5W and I also have six solids, two of which will get Buick hoops.

I thought I liked the KHs but changed my mind. However I did name my daughter Kelsey and almost named my son Hayes!

 

Never heard of “Only Ford Wires” snobs before. Boycott those Kelsey Hayes!

 

The 4.5 wide are hard to find...

 

I'm with you @alchemy. I was starting to think that I should pull the KH's off my current build, grab a set of 35 wires off the wheel rack and trot off to the powder-coater.
No, I like the KH's and they're a lot rarer here in Australia so I'm sticking with them.

 

As I posted five years ago, if any of the “Only Ford Wires” snobs want to get rid of their 5.5” bolt circle bent spokes in the 17” or 18” sizes, let me know. I’m not a snob. I’d even take Motor Wheel brand.

I just gave away a 16' bent spoke yesterday because I couldn't even get $50 for it.

 

Yeah well thats what you get for hitting the kerb at 35 mph how many spokes were bent

 

Well as to “snobbery” ,LOL, I just prefer the looks, the availability, and the price! To each his own as that is what HAMBing is all about...
