Technical ken austin

    Is ken austin of austin rod shop still making heads/intakes for the lincoln flattys? I searched and got a site but it didn't work.

    His wife recently passed but as far as I know that hasn't changed his car parts business / hobby. I live about 1/4 mile from there.

    Does anyone know him?? He has a lot of history in engineering and creative style, and could presumably teach most of us a lot.
    I remember finding an article on him in a small mid-1950's magazine written about one of his projects done during his engineering schooling...
    He was souping a Ford OHV 6 cylinder, using a fuel injection system he designed and made himself, with injection accomplished through a hole in the intake valve seat!!
    The control valve and pressure regulating bits were shown, with very inadequate explanation. Furnace oil injection parts were used in some areas...the whole thing powered a Model T coupe altered!
