Im checkin everyday to see if something good has happened..... i had a bunch of rare punk rock 7" and 12" stolen a few years ago, SOME IVE RECOVERED AT SECOND HAND STORES, BUT MOST WERE LOST.... I kno how it feels, and it aint pretty....i also knew who it was, a "friend", im dead sure who, but never had enuff proof to crack his head, i hope you will, but what matters is that you recover your stuff. fuken skumbags!
Good news everyone, I've recovered some of my stuff!!!!! I can't begin to tell you how greatful I am to be part of the HAMB family!!! So with a tip from someone here on the HAMB (who wants remain anonymous) I was able to get some leads as to who might have ripped me off, and they paid off!!! It's turned out to be a group of filthy tweakers here in Riverside that are known to be bad news around town and all of them have records a mile long. It's sort of a long story that is still unfolding but with the help of some good people, the Riverside Police Department, and a lot of prayer, I've recovered my Edmunds cadillac 2x2 intake manifold, 2 chrome 97 carbs, chrome caddy water pump, 47 harley flathead engine, some expensive tools and a few other odds and ends. There is still a ton of stuff missing but at least this is a start and Im VERY greatful to have it back! Not to mention the fact that we now know exactly who did this to us and why, because I was going crazy trying to figure it out! Now things are coming in piece by piece because these tweakers are rolling over on eachother to try and save their asses. We keep getting more and more leads and it's becoming like a snowball effect, so I believe I will get most everything back! They admitted that some stuff has been sold off but they are giving us names and addresses to where it went so the police will be checking all leads and Im confident they will be successful! Oh and yes some scumbags are going to jail over this! I want to say a BIG thanks again to everyone for keeping this post up because it is the only reason Im getting my stuff back! But please keep your eyes peeled for now because a lot of stuff is still out there. I will make a list at the bottom of the stuff still missing. GOD BLESS THE HAMB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Is it possible to contact the local newspaper to say that your stuff has been recovered and they can write a story about it? They "LOVE" feel good/recovery stories & it might put the 'heat' on the other parts to surface. Oh yea, congrats on getting some of your stuff back. Was it someone that you knew? Great News! Hope these little fuckers get what's coming to em and that you get your stuff back. Had my car stolen over 3 years ago and JUST got it back so I know how you feel.
Glad to hear! All that stuff still missing is so different from the usual stuff those scumbags usually steal and take to pawnshops. You should be able to track more down!
