    Lots of vintage cars.
I like how the hoodlum's hot rod turned into a doorslammer when it wrecked (@11:00).

I wonder if anybody can identify the car(s) - either the RPU or the flipped over version.
I'll go first: The flipped over version looks like a Ford with its perimeter frame and rocker box outrigger body supports. Extra points if you noticed the single mufflered exhaust.

The RPU looks like it coulda been made from a coupe or sedan. Cool Dago'd front axle.

Even when the film was made they were not going to wreck a hot rod, probably a later model Ford. HRP

I believe all that was staged.
The cop was in on it.

Isn't the cop in that film the same guy who played the sergeant in "ADAM-12"?

  12. Not a Ford, maybe an early mopar?... Do I see the trans-mounted e-brake? Looks like it has running boards.

That reminds me of the training movies we watched in Driver's Ed class.

The flipped over car looks like a 39-early 50s Plymouth or Dodge. Leaf spring rear, independent front suspension, looks like it has the brake drum on the trans, and an open driveshaft. Looks like the center of the frame rails have a seam at the center on the bottom, like that era Mopar boxed frame had. With the spare tire well on the right side and the fuel tank on the left side, and the tail pipe between the two, sure looks like Mopar.
