The roundup falls this year on one of the busiest weekends for me ever...

But I played a little hooky from work and took the Gals out there for a few hours on the first day.

Weather was awesome... Had a great time wandering around and forgot my camera for most of the day...

I remembered I had it on the way out and took a pics of a couple cars that made it for me.

Don't get me wrong... There were a lot of cool cars but most of the really cool ones have been covered a lot so I just snapped a few shots of a couple that really got to me.

If you want to see more... Get your *** out there!

Or wait for the better prepared guys to post.

    Loved this full-fendered roadster...

The whole package was just awesome.

To me this is proof that a full-fendered car can look even meaner than a hiboy.

This was the best shot I took of it.

I wasn't too crazy about the front on this 35/36 coupe, but the running board and rear treatment ruled.

I think this car has been covered a lot...

It's probably not a conventional pick for one of the best of the show... But I got a soft spot for 46-48 Merc customs.

In the immortal words of Delmar from O Brother...

    "Thats... All I got!"

Pitifull I know, but those are the cars that will stick out for me if I don't make it back out there.

that was cool man, thank you for sharing! I would call your pics "quality over quan***y".

Thanks again from those of us that did not make it to the show.

    Sincerely,

I agree with you on the full fendered 32, it's mean. Thanks for quality

Wow, what a beauty. You're right about the whole package but it starts with the stance. Thanks for the photos.

    Thanks guys...

Well... I never made it back over there.

But to be honest, even from all the coverage I've seen... These are still my favorite cars of the show.

So I'm glad I was coherent enough to at least take these shots. :) :)

Yep, the stance is perfect on this car... I don't use that word often with cars, but the stance really couldn't get any better on this car.

There are a few things I wouldn't have done if it was my car... Little store-bought things, radials, grill-gaurd mesh, etc...

But it's just a gripping car to look at... Especially at this angle and in that parking spot... I think it was a nice shot.
