I'm drivin an 84 bronco 2 until I get another mill for the wagon, but I'm having with keeping it idling. It's a 2.8 litre with computer controlled 2 barrel. Anyone have any ideas? Vaccuum leaks or hoses hooked up wrong? Someone put heads on it before I bought it but I think they screwed a bunch of stuff up, just wondering where I should start. Thanks T
use some wd-40 or similar and check the intake gaskets first. just spray along the gasket and listen for a change in speed. when it does you have where it is leaking. plugs up the leak momentarily. do all the gaskets around the carb and the vacuum hoses also. jerry
1. Vacum leakage 2.fault in electrical system 3. fault in fuel system 4. Leaking EGR or pluged PCV valve 5. Fuel pump 6.Carb out of adjustment 7.leaking head gasket 8.camshaft lobes worn just some things to check
