Christ! That avatar is likely to get someone fired looking at this **** ontheir work computer! Good thing my supervisor has run to the bank! And the cars... oh yeah, that ****s.
heres your lancia b 24 fiat128 my buddy said he found it in oklahoma is a shed very rare i do believe and very big $$$$$$
I couldn't make it past the 1st.........how can someone neglect one of the most beautiful exotics EVER built...........the Lamborghini Muira.....
x2000! Seeing that actually made me hopeful that I might be able to afford one sooner than later! Forget south Phoenix... I need to start hitting the junkyards in Azerbaijan!
i was too depressed to go past the first page. you mena there are MORE??? ...on the other hand. it makes me hopeful that maybe i can afford an exotic super car one day... i'll just have to resurect it fromt he dead... i'll bet replacement parts for a Countach are'nt cheap.
Some neat finds there. Dont feel to bad about the Bahgdad cars, due to possible ****y traps the first troops on the scene prob dropped a frag in them to be safe.
-Heh, I'm just glad that for once-I didn't see pictures of my backyard on one of these "abandoned" websites...
Pretty sure someone found that car and restored it to that custom version, a few years ago one appeared in a magazine with that same nose. According to the story, it was found abandoned, missing the right door and wrecked on that side, though. Imagine that, a free '53 Corvette.
Oh that is just sad. How can anyone possibly justify the treatment some of those cars have received? If I knew someone who allowed those excotic cars rot like that I would have a hard time not beating the **** out of them. Like I said, sad.
Why do folks let old buildings rot away? Why did the Air Corps decomission so many WW2 birds? Why do we scuttle ships and boats that have history? Because in the end they are just all stuff, things, materials etc..........and then we die Makes the ones that are saved worth that much more. As stated, many of these cars have since been restored to their former glory.
Tman's right ! one man's trash is another man's treasure. In this country, we trash everything. Think about all the cool cars you have owned and what YOU did with them, to have to wish now, that you kept them. Too late...we're a expendable society, thats manufactures built in obsolesince.
after about the 18th page or so i was able to get beyond the avatar. The cars that they show as unrestorable are pretty damn funny there are quite a few guys on here that could tackle them and be done in a reasonable amount of time.
That Kustom Vette is bad-fuggin'-***. A little Kustom A little sports car A little hot rod put in a blender and enjoy. **** that's cool.
What a superb thread. Just spent nearly an hour reading it and just come to that Shelby Cobra. Do these type of things still turn up in the US?
exellent thread, the UK car show Top Gear did a 10k supercar challenge a while back with a Lambo Muria and a couple of other cars, a lot of them in the UK that saw any real use are very rotten and none of em seem to enjoy regular use mechanicaly..... still they sure are purty much like the blokes avatar.
Whoa, that unrestored Ferrari 166 Barchetta is f"cking wild, gimme! I love the fact it was never restored.
