ok, with all these threads about cars attempting to R.I.P. (rust in piece) i am thinking about buying a truck and attempting to save some of them to sell to restorers/rodders to:

    A. keep old cars on the road

    and

    B. put a little extra money in my pocket since i am the kind of person who has to live paycheck to paycheck

so, if you were going to attempt this, what would be your choice of getting/hauling said cars?

Are you more interested in a box truck you can load a car inside of, or a truck you can haul a trailer with?

well, i'm doubting that a box truck would get to the places that some of these cars seem to be at.....i'm thinking a 4x4 of some sort would probably work best....with lockers in both axles and wide tires so that it gets good traction on soft which could be a problem trying to get to the cars.....

not really sure what would be ideal though, trying to figure it out.....

How about an old 50's Mack prime mover with a similar aged car carrier trailer on the back? Haul the ol' time stuff with an ol' time rig.

    Cheers, Glen.

Any 4 x 4 pickup , flatbed trailer with a good winch should get the job done.
