I finally got me a copy of the new Garage #16, and there it is a 4 page article on Zorba's Ghost WOW how cool!! Not only is it cool just to see the FED in there but the article man is it inspiring. If you are building a car of any type and that article doesn't inspire you to work harder nothing will. Trust me I know Brian and the part about the hard work and dedication is all true. A dream that he has had for a long time is now coming to life. Congrats to him!!!
Word up justin . FOX its about time all the hard work pays off .. now you can't go back wards .time to out do the single hoop. I SAY NEXT BRING BACK THE SKULLET.
Picked it up a few days ago myself and am very proud and happy for him at what's he's accomplished. He set a goal for himself, never lost sight of it and pulled it off at a time when most of us are in the house sitting in front of these damn computers. There is a substitute for money and it's called hard work. Brian is a perfect example of this and an inspiration to us all to get out in the garage and get something done. Proud to say that I've known Brian a long time and as anyone that has met him can attest, he's the real thing.
Cant wait to see it. Congrats BRIAN. P.S. Are the beirman boys back from the playboy mansion yet? If yes, you gonna be there thursday night?
Falconmad, thanks for starting this thread. And thanks to everyone for their nice comments. When Tim Conder contacted me about doing a feature in Garage , I was happier than hell. I really respect Conder and I am totaly in love with his dragsters. Garage is my favorite magazine and Conder is my hero. So to have him write a story about me in Garage is just tops. It doesnt get any better than that for me. And I am shure that someday I will shake his hand. Like most of you guys I do alot of work in the garage. Alot of it late after my wife and kid goes to bed. But I am in the garage everyday. Even if it is just for an hour sweeping up and thinking of the next step on a project. There isnt a day that goes by that my hand doesnt have notes written on it, and people give me shit about it. I am constantly thinking of things to make and always have some sort to big project going along with many small ones. At work I spend break time working on projects. Alot of the time I feel that I neglect helping friends and family because I am so busy. Busy on things of my own that have no set compleation date, but to me I feel there is one. For that I apologize. Biggen has been a huge help on this dragster and on many of my projects here at my house. And for that I am going to grow a Skullet as he suggested. So next year look for me in one of those hair cut magazines. I'll try my best biggen, ha, ha. And Nick32vic, they are leaving this wed. the 17th so the shop will probably be dead. But their going to the Jay Leno show Thurs nite. So if I know Bill like I think I do. Keep an eye out he will probably be the guy in the stands without pants just to get on TV. Oh one of the photos they didnt use in Garage. The girls name is Tasha.
The boys said if they had more room, they would've ran every picture with that chick in it! Thanks for the compliments, but YOU'RE the guy actually running a tire smoker! Stay alert, stay alive man!
Brian you're OK, for a gay man. You look much better with the mask on. Everyone needs to show some love and buy a T-shirt from Brian as well!
Cool............We will be in the STL at the end of the month.......Brian, I will try to give you a call........ Chris Nelson Kansas
