I aquired a bunch of tools this week. Included was this Snap on king pin puller. It was free to me. Bill
Wow, congratulations. That looks like a very handy tool, is there a snap-on number on it so I can look for one? Are those shorter leg sets so you can change the length?
There is no dirrect part number that I can find for the "set". I googled Snapon puller & found a slightly "larger" set (same puller with more adapters) that had a part # CG-220-A. This pushes the pin out the top of the spindle & the part that sits on top has a bore size of 1 9/16 " & three adapters that have bore sizes of 1 1/2" & 1". It has a part # CG-21-P-5 stamped in it. The three push rods are of different legnths, the short one is 3/4" dia & 3 1/2" long w/ # CG-21-F stamped in it, the next one is 3/4" dia 4 3/4" long w/ # CG-21-E on it, & the last one is 3/4" dia on one end & steps down to 5/8" over most of its legnth & 4 3/4" long w/ # CG-21-G stamped on it. The threaded "bolt" end is boerd with a crown recessed inside of it. The adapter rods have a matching crown on one end that fits in the 3/4" bolt bore & lines up & supports the pusher rods. The rest of the puller & the metal box has no numbers on it , but looks like it has never been used. . Bill
