king pin question

Just had king pin bushings installed need to know where the little cup and cloth washer install.above spindle ,below ?1946 ford spindles any help greatly appreciated.

 

Above. Felt washer on top of the spindle. Washer cup facing down, then kingpin top.

 

above the spindle. the little cup goes on the kingpin first , then the fabric washer.....then install the kingpin into the spindle. FYI, the thrust bearing goes on the bottom of the axle
