I'm ***embling the I beam front end on the roadster at the moment and am wonering exactly where the thin round shims and the felt washers go on the k'pins. Any help appreciated.

got your bushings pressed in and honed to fit the pin?

the thin washer with the lip goes on first - slide lip pointed down to top of pin
    then the felt washer
then the pin goes in the spindle through the axle
throught the bearing with open part of bearing point down
    then back through the spindle
line of the notch and put in the pin

do a search on kingpins - someone posted a diagram

  3. Thanks Tudor
    too easy
