Hi from Ventura. This is my intro, but I don't feel like a newbie. I have been lurking here since the Jalopy Journal began. I miss Germ. I'm 46-years-old, born and raised in New Zealand. I moved to California in 1980. I work as a fabricator/welder for the county of Ventura fleet services. I have had this job for about four years. For twelve years before that, I was self-employed doing hot rod/race car fabrication in my backyard shop, Perry AutoFab. I have been a DIY low-buck hot rodder my whole life. My current rides are my blown flathead powered '28 Ford/Dodge RP, a 1958 Mercury surf wagon (I do surf!). My current project is a '34 Ford coupe being built sixties drag style. I also have a '40 Willys coupe body shell waiting its turn, and the beginnings of a '34 Ford highboy PU. I am a member of the Scroungers hot rod club based in Auckland, New Zealand. Last, but not least, I'm married with two kids. I hope to post plenty of pictures.
Welcome from Wisconsin! Lets see some pics of the '28 blown flathead pickup. Oh and the other rides too.
