  13. True Ken, but it would give you a good but concise overview of what you missed, the whole day moved fairly quick as did many of the cars.:) JW

Love it. Had 1 day like that. Dirt, small tire & no wings, so much fun. Now move all the drivers on the left - inside of the turns. What the hell, let the right hand drivers run clock wise. That would be crazy experience

  17. Well damn! Feb issue of Petrol Head and Mrs W makes the March issue with her Mustang. The truth is i don't ever take the cars out looking for a trophy, but a pic in any mag is gold. Looking forward to NZ Rodders coverage. Thanks Wade.:D JW

  22. Hi, Wade, are you going to the Dust Up in January? We are all entered up. Hope to see you there again.:D JW

  23. Well team, it has been a little while, maybe it's time for an update.
I have been planning a trailer for the roadster for a while now and building a (apparently off topic) tow car for it also.
Here are a few shots of the trailer to date.
    IMG20241107110505.jpg IMG20241107110523.jpg IMG20241107110541.jpg
I got a 3.6m x 1500mm x 3mm sheet of steel cut into full length strips then folded into channel and the profile for the guards.
I wanted to keep the car as low as possible.

It is easy to load with the profile of the guards and balances nicely to tilt and tow.
Nearly ready to go to the blast and paint guy. IMG20241109175107.jpg

  24. Very cool, will we see that line up at Dust Up? JW

  25. Not sure yet. Still working through cert list.

  26. We did a wheel alignment the other day again after making new ifs arms, but the bump steer calc was outside acceptable parameters, so waiting on components to arrive to alleviate the issue.

  27. But wait, most folk will say it drives fine ,not an issue......but you know !!:rolleyes::D JW

  28. Call it a 'Trailer Queen' if you must, but those that know me, know I am happy in all weather in the roadster, but if we travel far there ain't no room for much more than a credit card and a toothbrush . Still planning to travel, but as we age, we appreciate a dry bum and what is left of our hearing! Today I loaded the roadster on her very own transport designed to be hauled by the (apparently off topic) Chevy coupe in the background, which I nearly completed fitting the recycled leather interior including heated seats for our buggered backs.

And the interior of the coupe. IMG20241202182536.jpg

    Cheers.
