Tonights progress. Not a lot, but progress all the same. I dropped in the trans and the radiator including fan, headlight and horn relay mounts and overflow bottle.

Love your build! Especially the detail like your brake pedal, great work. I almost built a 27 before I finally decided on a 29 and have drawings of the frame that look very similar to what you built. Great project and fantastic workmanship and attention to detail. Can't wait to see the finished car!!

Can I be in on that? Looking forward to seeing the paint job, has the colour scheme turned out like you envisaged?

No! You will end up in a dark room with your hands and feet bound with Duct tape! But then some people like that!

Yes It is looking just as I had hoped. My damn camera is just not playing the game though! I will try again.

Trans tunnel with the recess for the shifter.

And then the shifter in position.

Shifter in, cover on and trim ring in position. I will take this to the upholsterer tomorrow along with the Ebrake handle for old leather covers to be made.

I may take my Box Brownie in to the camera shop too!

  18. Looking great so far TimberFanny ! :D Shifter is very cool .

Sorry to dissapoint Paul, I used the last of the pink on my old Model A Wheels.

Hold your horses man, I am loading them now.

You may need to change the settings on you PC.

Here is one more from the back side of the fire wall. On the inside of the fire wall you can see the sound deadening across the top. I fitted the throtal pedal bracket, which incorporates the mount for the headlight dip switch, and the wiring penetration glands.

That's ok, I'm constantly fighting the same battle. Just keep the messy areas out of frame and the illusion of a perfectly sanitary environment can prevail.
