Kiwi Model A build - resto/trad rod

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Greg Stokes, Nov 8, 2009.

  1. I have been working on this A ch***is over the weekend for a friend - got the boxing plates in and the front cross member.

Influence is the Hartmann Roadster and the idea is lift the original body from the frame and deal to the frame with a dropped I beam and a twin four, 283 & four speed.

Sorta sixties style - Early Times car club era I guess.

The Model A running gear has gone into my T.

Nice! I just saw a roadster that looks just like that in a garage yesterday while out driving around a small town. I had my not so happy 3 month old baby with me, otherwise I would have stopped.

Not to worry, the parts went to a cool project!

  7. A long overdue update. It was on the go slow while I finished my own roadster. But work has started again and the motor and box is all mounted and the rear end is yet to be finished.

Next up is the steering, exhaust, front shock mounts and then the body can be steeled out and the floor reinstalled etc

With me in this shot it gives perspective of the stance

We will more than likely drop the headlight bar and take a couple of inches out of the screen.
