I went up to the KKOA show in Gettysburg, PA this weekend. I saw a few HAMB cars (Scary Larry, Kustom 7777) but unfortunately I didn't catch up with any HAMBers. Good show...some really nicely built customs from very mild to the full treatment. There are 26 pictures, so give me a minute to get them all up here because I still don't know how to do multiple shots in a post. This Chevy was the first car I saw when I walked in, and it was as straight as can be.
My wife was taking the pictures, and she got a real kick out of this guy's shirt. She tried to buy it for me...
The color on this Buick was really striking. It doesn't show up as well in the pics, but it was a super dark blue that had a really nice purple haze to it when the sun hit it. It turned out to be an off-t******lf '91 GM paint code!
I think someone on here knows the owner of this car. It was one of my favorites. Mild, but a lot of attention to detail. It sat right, sounded good...very slick car...
Some detail of the same Chevy. The striping didn't show up as well in the pics, but like the rest of the car it was subtle and really cool...
Thanks Curt Six, now I can go to work. I needed that to get going this morning. Great pics!!! One of these days I'll be able to cruize up north to check it out. Happy Trails, Mick
Great Pics! Is 435821, the 56 Chev an old Winfield custom? It's been around a while. The last pic of the Buick is perfect. Great angle of the photo. Extended quarters with Packard lites and bubble skirts, can't get any more cl***ic than that.
