Heading out at zero dark 30 in the morning for this year's KKOA meet in Maggie Valley, NC - unfortunately as a specultator. The event is Friday and Saturday at the town festival grounds. Best reason I could think of to head for the mountains. Anyone else making the scene?

Lee, we had been talking about it since last year, but it just ain't going to happen this year, I still want to go to Cherokee in October, I have registered & have a room, but I am also scheduled for prostate surgery next month so recovery time may be the determining factor. HRP

Man, it would have been great to see you and Brenda again. It's been too long. I'm sure diggin night time temperatures in the 50s. I'll check the Cherokee date in case we can make it back up.

Y'all got to go to the WHEELS THRU TIME motorcycle museum. It's the best place I've been in a long time, all OLD AMERICAN made motorcycles( mostly Flathead, Knucks and Pans,,,and they ALL run) and related stuff. Dale (RIP) really gave us all something special with his museum. It's a GOTTA see....you can thank me later,,,Mitch

I have visited the museum 9 times and I am blown away each and every time I visit, Matt (Dales son) continues to build inventory and keeps his dads vision alive, he also is a wealth of information.

Mitch & Danny, toured the museum a couple years ago. My wife Lynda still tells people how good it is and how much we enjoyed it.

It’s a have to go . Consider yourself gifted to be able to tour it . Some people may never get to because of their location .

The turnout today was a bit sp****, probably 50 - 60 participants. The club did a good job with music and activities going on throught the day, and the weather was perfect. My picture taking was focused on HAMB friendly rides which most everything was with the exception of some modern wheels here and there. Yesterday we took a ride 32 mile ride on the Blue Ridge Parkway which added to a perfect weekend in the mountains.
