What a great show!!! We came up in the Caravan from Wichita, I didn't think to take pics during the caravan!!! Did get some shots before we left Wichita though. Iam enclosing a link from the kick off party at Rockies on Wednesday, and then the rest was all taken from the start of the Caravan till we left on Saturday. Wish we could have stayed for the whole thing!!!

Yeah man, I met the Caddy Caravan on I-70 as I was on my way back to Salina after not paying attention to where I was going and jumped on the wrong road! Seeing the Caddys eased my pain of being a dufus!! So cool you guys added a lot to the event!! Sweet rides!! ~Sololobo~

    Hey Roger,

I took a camera again this year and didn't take a picture. One of these days
    I'll document our adventures....

We had a few guys ride up with us and one of them broke down 40 miles out of
Salina. It took him almost four hours to get the '54 Chevy to the host Hotel. I
think everyone in the parking lot was trying to fix the poor Chevy. It ended up
being a fuel pump. They found a six volt electric fuel pump in Salina and made it
all the way home without a problem. They finally got her fixed & then the other guy
broke down Friday Night and his wife had to drive up and tow him back home.
On the way home My Merc still had smell of burning tire odor when I would make
long turns. I just thank God that I was in Kansas and their were not that many
turns that I had to make. Ha, ha, ha... Going to get it on the rack tomorrow to
see what is causing my problem. On 400 hwy good straight road, we werre flying
home and I lost the guys behind me. I turned around and started to see what was
wrong. After driving a few miles, here they came going in the other direction. So
I turned back around, Dustin had broke his oil line in his '30 sedan and he caught it
in time before he ran out of oil. Even with all of the troubles that we had, I still think
it is better to drive them then using a trailer.

Cars Suck!! Thank God we go to shows to hang out with friends.

    Happy Trails,

    Mick

The DJ is still a dofus but he did announce what I asked him to AND when I wrote out the part about giving Roger Jeter a hard time about being old and needing a reminder he got this hugh grin on his face and said no problem. :D

GREAT seeing both you and Dan again and checking out your Caddy. Looking forward to hanging out next month.

  9. Thanks for the books, much appreciated. Driving the interstate may suck but at least you had yer ol car. Wish I could of had my ford there. See you in Joplin.

So, you want me to send you another disc of pics! LOL!
Sucks that you all had problems, glad that there were no "tow bills" on the way home for you, or anyone from what it seems.
Tell us what the problem was on your car when you get it figured out.
