We usually hit the back roads, we go through Eldorado, KS
and head up North until we get lost then head West to Salina.
Does this work? If not, we're easy we can change our plans.....

My computer rolled craps last week so I don't have Email. I need
to talk to ya sometime about Wichita.

Drove the toad yesterday for the first time. Almost done. Will be in Salina for sure.

 

Wow Doug...what's it been --two, three years now...??? It'll be good to see the car again (and you too...!!!)...!!!

I'll be wrangling a new car as well...my '55 Cad sled is on the road...already have about 1500 miles on it...

Alex, you gotta make BTT50'S In Minneapolis in June. That is the worlds best fairgrounds and there are 11k cars as well.

I sure would like to get a picture of our cars together, seeing your car kind of led to the paint job / color scheme on my car.

 

Best time is between 11 to 1pm on saturday... pinstripers charity auction started last year at 2pm and lasts for about a hour, then it's way HOT!!! Hambers are welcome to come and sign the banner and hang in the shade anytime. Someone pick a time I'm just offering the place. See everybody there. How about a 'HAMB PICK' trophy? I'll see if it's OK with Titus.

I'll be there. Its home why not. Really I love this show. See ya all on thursday eve. I'll be staying at mom and dads. Cheap hotel, AND IT HAS BREAKFAST EVERY MORNING. LOL Got to love moms.

 

I'm going to out bid you at 448 +, I haven't sent in my registration yet.....I'm a slacker, and my work is completely unpredictable......I'll be there anyway of course.

 

I talked to Jerry Titus the other night. He sais they are on pace for about 800. It keeps getting bigger. They are working with the park dist. to clear out more area for future shows. It is ideally located in the heart of the nation.

The friday night drag race is drawing more non-show participants as well...which make it a little crowded but sure is awesome with sooo many match ups!

 

If you come up north through El Dorado, you can turn west on k4 Highway and come through our town of Gypsum or you can continue up to about 1 mile from I-70 and take old 40 into Salina. The second option is a little more fun to drive, but maybe that's because I've been on K4 a couple trillion times.
