Went to the kick off party at Bright Built Hot Rod Shop tonight. Lots of nice cars, good food, and fellowship. Saw alot of Hamber's. After that we went to the cruise in at Dairy Queen for more of the same with another big group of cars in attendance. Tomorrow is the first day of the show and of course the drags at 6.

Bob, I hunted everywhere for you. Ran around calling your name, pleading for you to answer.........to no avail. Bobwop claims he saw you. I did see your car. Very nice. I bet I can find you tomorrow in your lawn chair.

Yeah like my uncle Povertyflats said, lots of great cars in town already, GREAT free live concert at Oakdale Park tonight, hope some of you got to check it out.

I will be filming the drags tomorrow and I have a spare camera if anyone has a passenger that might want to film their runs from inside the car. I'd love to have a bunch of people shoot some runs inside the cars. I'll post all of the videos worth showing as soon as I can.

I had a blast! It was a treat to experience the hospitality of Gypsum's own Poverty Flats. How nice to meet lots of folks and enjoy old friends. Man, my foot hurts!

that Duramax will pass anything but a fuel pump! Stopped and hooked on to the trailer containing "Faded Memories" and put the hammer down. Just shy of 800 miles in 13 hours. I know I lost 30 minutes due to my inability to walk at a normal pace.

Awesome show! Something like 1,100 cars registered! Not too hot today and just some rain this AM and then it cleared up and was nice! Lots of killer cars and cool people, plan it for next year for sure!

I think there's 2 reasons why alot of people seemed to just be asleep at the line when the flag dropped, hell, no one wanted to drive away from the scenery......
