Well got up at 5 am this morning to go get my knee fixed . Well everything went find except when the Dr was in there doing some work he found my cartilage was torn so that was repaired also . Came home after 4 & 1/2 hours and been taking Vicodin ever 3 hours ! I have walked on it already and seems to be OK . I hope so , I have the 2 swap spaces in the biggest Ford Show in Carsile Pa. next Thursday to Sunday ! Thanks for all the prayers and thoughts and hope this takes care of this knee . If it works out good , I have a right knee that needs to be done next ! Now an update on my dog , he is still hanging in there ! He takes pain pills but seems to be doing good with no major problems right now . he does just about everything he always did before and gets all the real good things to eat ! He is eating Deer right now and he loves DEER ! I don't mind at all , because he is my baby boy as I call him . 2 weeks ago we did buy a Shihtzu 9 week old puppy ! He is black and white and a real sweetie ! Has brought a lot of new life into both my older dogs . Our Mirical dog as we call him is going into a month now that we were told a weekend was all we had . See , prayers do happen even to our best friends too ! We do know the end will come soon but we love him up everyday as if it was his last day with us ! It will be very hard but are greatfull for all the extra time GOD has given up with our special dog ! Congrats on the fixed knee. On a dog note, our shop dog who was rescued from the Katrina storm was raptured last Saturday. Bell was a sweet stray who's idea of hunting was to check all the garbage cans every day. Here's to good dogs.
Glad to hear you are doing well,just don't over do it with the pills they lie to you, after my surgery I took one thought I would do some light yard work and came into the garage for some water and got light headed and ended up on the floor.
Some procedures are seeming so routine these days, good to hear it went well. Keep a load off your knee for several days before loading up for the swap meet. God knew you needed your dog around a little while longer, they are hard to let go. See you in Carlisle!
56Ford , sorry to hear about the loss of your garage puppy ! Now go get another one to keep the garbage cans clean of Hot dogs ! Thanks for all the kind works about my dog and my sore knee today ! Still isn't hurting like it did . I did take a look at the holes in my knee today . Damn small hole my *** ! They are about as big as your thumb ! they cross cut the holes to get the big tool in I guess . Dr told me 2 small hole , if this is true what does a large hole look like . Anyway the Dr did a great job so far . Now I need to get it strong enough for Wed when I go to Carsile Ford show to set up and sell off some parts I don't need anymore ! I know this knee will really be *****in a fit during the show . Jim
Glad you're feelin good & up and at it again. Just don't overdo it. If you want, you can drop all that stuff off at my place, and save you sittin in the weather next week.

parklane , I am very greatfull for your offer but you are a little farther than I want to drive to unload a couple trailers of Ford parts ! Not sure I can get it all through the customs ! You need to make the trip down sometime to the Ford Show . Ir's really worth the trip and you get to see great Fords you just don't get to see anymore ! There are always some good cars from racing history there as a lot of other great Fords to look at and BUY !!!!! If I can get a brake I will try to get a couple pictures so you can see how big the show really is . As for the knee it's doing good , just sore . Was up and down a ladder today in the garage getting parts down to sell . It really isn't that bad , just sore and NO shape pains like it use to have all the time ! Very Happy about that so far ! Jim
Jim.............been to the Carlyle swap meet before, but not to the Ford only. Hope you sell everything you want and buy 2 trailer loads of stuff you don't need.
