Guy on a Mopar board found it, for sale, wondered if maybe anyone here knew anything about it at all. It's a weird one... [image]http://board.moparts.org/ubbthreads/upload/1040059-tarrado.jpg[/image] [image]http://board.moparts.org/ubbthreads/download.php?Number=1038851[/image]
I know that it's an abortion. And if any of you say you like it...then explain to me why you didn't like that flattened model A??
i like it because it is hideous in a batman kinda way. the flattened a was just not quite weird enough kinda like a bad haircut on an otherwise decent lookin girl, but this is like "third boob weird" and that is just something I can't ignore.
nobody seems to know anything about it...here's the thread: http://board.moparts.org/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=Test&Number=1031248&page=2&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=7&fpart=all I guess it's still for sale, and mostly Mopar based. Guy that owns it claims that it was in a movie. To me, it kinda looks like a wacky factory dream car gone wrong. I'm not sure when they started using fiberglass, but apparently it's got a lot of it. I'm surprised you Kustom gurus haven't seen it before...
The car may be butt ugly, but I kinda like it. Id definately have to do something with the front end though, its too blunt nosed looking. Does any one know what it has under the hood for motorvation?
I dunno, it kind of looks like an early corvette to me I wasnt gonna say anything until you said it had alot of fiberglass. Nick
mmmmm it seems someone was standing tooo close to the exhaust...... that thing is just plain fucking ugly, & this coming from a guy who love ugly cars.. but damn i'd be ashamed to be caught driving it let alone saying i built it.but then to each his own...joe
i showed the pics on anothe board & one guy said maybe it started its life as a Kurtis made by The Muntz Car Company....joe
Im 100 percent certain that that thing doesnt have anything to do with Barris. Also; I dont think it is a kustom in the conventional sence; it looks more like some weird, futuristic "study" like that safety-car with the fugly, balooning windshield (cant remember the name).
