Drove by there a few months ago,closed up.Store down the street told me Eddie was suffering from dementia,and didn't know the status of the store.Doesn't look like anything's changed inside,the counters looked like they were just closed for the day.Is that still true? Been several years since I've bought anything from Eddie,but it was always an experience to go in there.The place was a gold mine of old stuff then,mixed in with a bunch of crap. And you didn't want to get on his bad side,either...I saw him tear a kid working there a new ass,when the poor kid sold me 58 Buick ball joints for the old price marked on the box..I offered to pay more,but Eddie let it slide,but I'll bet the kid took a whipping after I left.
