Just curious if there is anybody out in colorado who watches this board and if they know of any events?
goodguys in colorado springs is coming up, pretty big swap at the bud event center. various other shows in denver. the main ones i wanted to hit have already p***ed. trey
and someone said something the other day (not on here) about a show/swap and a double feature movie at a drive through. somewhere between springs and pueblo i think. anyone know of this? end of july or so. trey

Don't know either... but I was told there was supposed to be a big car show in Gunnison up there in Colorado... might be something to see there.

PLENTY rod runs, cruises car events going on in ColoRODo this time of the year...when are you looking at coming to ColoRODO and what exactly are you looking for: Rod Run, local cruise, Nascar races, Indy car races, drag races????????? R-

Its great to see a few locals replying to this. I live in CO and am just getting back into this. For years i used to be a commited street/drag racer and rod enthusiaste. After a too long hiatus from it i am sort of re-finding myself and am finding out the CO, though beautiful, just doesn't have the rodding community that our brother states do (like CA). Lots of cl***ic car enthusiatses and billet street rods but pretty spare on the real deal rods. Like i have mentioned before i currently don't have a rod, but will be looking within the next few years and am beginning my quest now through research and just finding out what cars i like and how i want mine setup. So for now, i am a frantic digital picture scavenger for nearly everything. Hence the crazy pics on all my posts. I do it so ya'll can see some cool pics. I like cars. what can i say.

Back Street Customs does a show the weekend after Labor Day in Colorado Springs, old school rods and customs they say. I haven't made it yet, I was at another show in KC last year (Punk Rods Greaserama). The guy from that shop is on here at times.
you need to pick up a copy of "the latest scoop" a regional events calander type thing. look up the website for info to get it. the pikes peak hill climb is in less than two weeks, same weekend as the rocky mt street rod nats in pooeblo. i'm trying to hit both.

Hey Rodshop, the Paint and Primer show at Backstreet Kustoms is actually on Labor Day weekend. Also don't forget the car gathering on Saturday late afternoons at Grocery Warehouse at Powers and Cons***ution. sled
